Don & I went out early one morning before the gang awoke and this was our prize.  In the background faintly, we could hear "My paddle's keen and bright, flashing with silver. . ."Is this a northern pike facing south or a southern pike facing north, nice catch Rich.Don, RIch and Geoff with some of Thursday's catch.Hoping so hard to catch my first Walleye, I was almost disapointed by this rather nice small mouth bass. The sound of loons calling to each other is as impressive as it seems.The reason for the whole trip is right there in Don's hands.  It took me four days to find one.It's a family affair, there were six eagles sitting in two trees when we drove by.  By the time I got the camera ready only two remained.Rather immpressive for a juvenile, it takes two or three years to get the beautiful white head and tail.Mark, Craig and ChadA hook straightener.This kid can cook!! We had the best deep fried walleye I have ever had.  Mark; if I catch a batch of trout this winter will you can over and do them justice?  Note the two handled cast aluminum fry pan.Try catching a moose while doing a bunch of kilometers per hour down the TCH.
